Michael Brommer founded Giving Tree Capital, LLC, and serves as its senior Success Partner and Chief Investment Officer. Michael has been a business leader, investment professional, and planner for Fortune 100 companies for over 15 years, spanning the oil and gas, steel and coke, specialty chemicals, glass, and energy industries. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University, and is an Executive Scholar at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. From the beginning of his career, he developed a problem-solving method that puts economic outcomes first. He has held responsibility for billion-dollar international businesses and led nearly half a billion dollars in capital project deployment. At a leading global specialty chemicals company, Michael led the first-ever vertical integration of a billion-dollar ethoxylates business to use sustainable raw materials - reducing the industry's dependency on oil - by showing the $300 million investment in new manufacturing facilities, aided in building a brand new global brand and reformulating a portfolio of renewable products. For a leading oil and gas company, Michael resurrected a mothballed bio-based fuel facility and successfully commissioned and restarted the plant to become one of the most profitable in the industry. He has held leadership positions over global manufacturing and supply chains responsible for nearly $2 billion in product revenues, launch and management of new innovative products, and global brand stewardship.

Leveraging the long history of career success in business and investment management, Michael launched the Giving Tree group to reflect his interests and passion best. Michael founded Giving Tree Capital to help his family and friends make better financial decisions. As a father of four, Michael has unique experience building a financial foundation for young families. He is an expert at quantifying and mitigating financial risks unique to young families in buying a home, investing to pay for children's college, and planning for retirement. Founded on a principle of holistic wealth management, Michael is leading Giving Tree to understand that true wealth encompasses more than just monetary assets. m Our comprehensive wealth management services encompass financial, philanthropic, and legacy planning. We help our clients build a legacy that transcends generations, leaving a lasting impact on the causes they care about.

Adjacent to Giving Tree Capital, Michael founded the Giving Tree Philanthropy Fund and serves as its Executive Director. Charitable giving is integral to building a legacy and being purpose-driven in financial plans. Michael wants to be hands-on in seeing his charitable giving put to good operational use and enable clients to expand the impact of their giving with direct responsibility for how donations will impact communities. He has served on numerous non-profit boards.

Michael has four children with his wife Miranda - Asher, Shiloh, Stevie, and Arlo and resides in Corning, NY. Outside of his work, you can find him in the stands or on the sidelines of his children's various sports (lacrosse, hockey, baseball, gymnastics, dance), catching up with any of the Philadelphia sports teams, biking or weightlifting, and reading.
